end of week 4

End of week 4 and feeling pretty good, quite a few comments from people noticing a healthy glow which is encouraging. haven't mastered the creep exercise yet and pull ups are pathetic! any tips would be most welcome. missed a day of exercise so had to do set today instead.

As a motivational help I have gone through my cupboards and taken out a few clothes I really love but haven't been able to wear for a few years, notably my very skinny jeans. if I can get into those bad boys at the end of the program I will have achieved my goal. I have taken a picture of all of them and every time I crave red wine or cake then I will have to take a look at this pic, a whole new wardrobe for free is a good incentive!

Day 23

Have been hugely delinquent on the blogs since starting the project and must admin it has been hard finding a rhythm with work and all the cooking and exercising although getting there.

We seem to be spending hours everyday planning, preparing and cooking the food which is very time consuming although fun to be in the kitchen with music and not vegging on the sofa (pardon the pun).


Found I had lost 1.3kg after 10 days but last time i weighed myself found I had put on 0.5kg again. Been re-assured this is probably muscles, definitely feeling firmer, but have made the decision not to weigh myself for a few more days in case the scale discourage me. Has anyone else experienced this?

so far so good

only day 2 so nothing much to report. halving food portions makes you think about how much food you eat every day more consciously, maybe that's the point. Exercise a good way of easing back into things and waiting for the pain to start!
